Who is the face?
But why take photos?
My biggest dream was to see the Northern Lights one day. And it is best to capture them on camera.
In 2018 I wanted to fulfill my dream.. but I had no idea about cameras and what goes with them. My smartphone at the time was perfectly adequate. But not for northern lights.
Thanks to various posts and blogs about photographing the northern lights, I now knew what was in store for me: I had to spend some money and buy my first camera.

In October 2018 the time had come and I got on the plane to northern Norway, alone. It's also a strange feeling... but I've learned to appreciate loneliness and draw my strength from it.
Unfortunately, the weather conditions for my 5-day trip were not very promising. It was very cloudy and the moon was also shining very brightly. I should have known about the moon beforehand. After all, there is the lunar calendar. Well .. but I was lucky. Though I thought the bright apparition in the sky behind the clouds was again just an airplane taking off, the image on my camera told me otherwise. A light green shimmer shone through the dense cloud cover. Aurora Borealis showed itself to me for the first time. A dream came true.
